Actual status

As simple as possible means cheaper.

Comparison to actual window regulators:

• no cables
• no cable drum
• no cable drum housing
• no pulleys
• no fixed position for motor
• shorter time for assembly

 

Motor in actual window regulators use a worm gear. The same principle is used in new concept. Instead of a worm wheel in actual motor here is a guide rail with an internal worm thread. The worm shaft is used the same from the current motor. This guarantees durability.

 

 

 

Function

Inside slider is assembled worm spindle – connected by a flexible shaft to the motor.

 

Plastic guide rail has an internal worm thread into which the worm spindle fits.

Depending on the direction of rotation of the motor, spindle moves up or down along the plastic guide rail.

 

The flexible shaft is connected to the motor. Motor include planetary gearbox.

The flexi shaft is protected by a cover, during the entire stroke of the slider.

 

During function: slider go from bottom to top position = stroke. Flexible shaft, move half of stroke slider.
